I offer professional birth pool hire to support your choices and help create a peaceful, powerful birthing environment.

Whether you’re birthing at home or simply want the option to labour in warm water, hiring a birth pool is a great way to feel supported, relaxed, and in control.

What’s Included in Your Hire

You’ll receive everything you need for a safe, easy, and comfortable water birth at home:

• La Bassine Birth Pool

• Pool cover

• Single-use liner – Clean, disposable, and hygienic

• Electric pump – For quick and easy inflation and deflation

• Water pump & hose – To fill and empty the pool efficiently

• Floating thermometer – To monitor water temperature

• Delivery and set-up – Within 10 miles of Swindon

• Post-birth collection – I’ll return to pack down and collect the pool once your baby has arrived

 

Birth pool hire is available as a standalone service or can be added to any of my maternity care packages for extra support and a more personalised experience.

If you're one of my full birth doula clients, you're welcome to use the birth pool free of charge – it's my gift to support your comfort and birth choices.
Please note: the £100 security deposit still applies, fully refundable after collection and inspection.

When you're ready, I can collect the pool on the same day your baby is born or return the following day – whatever works best for you and your family.

All equipment is thoroughly sanitised and safety-checked before each hire.

How It Works

1. Book in advance – Ideally in your second trimester to secure availability

2. Delivered around 36–37 weeks – Or three weeks before your estimated due date

3. Set-up included – Or I’ll show you how to set it up when the time is right

4. Use during labour – Whether for full immersion or comfort during contractions

5. Easy post-birth collection – I’ll come and take everything away when you're ready

• Hire Fee: £100

• Refundable Security Deposit: £100
  Refunded after collection and inspection of the pool and equipment

 

If you're outside the 10-mile delivery radius from Swindon, I may still be able to deliver – fuel costs will be added to the deposit.
