A pregnancy and birth doula holding two newborn babies, providing support, love, and care to families welcoming new babies.

Hi, I’m Natalie.

I’m a birth doula based in the South West, a mother, grandmother and someone who is deeply

passionate about offering transformational, one-to-one support to women and families during

pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood.

This work is not just my job, it’s my calling.

My belief is simple but powerful: the way you are supported during pregnancy and birth matters

far beyond the day your baby is born. Your experience doesn’t just affect you, it ripples out to your

baby, your family, and the way you step into parenthood.

This is their experience too, and I know there is no one who wants better for them than you.

Support that is personal, present, and deeply human

I am one of the most booked doulas in the South of England, and that is for good reason. The support I offer is not generic or packaged; it is relational, intuitive, advocacy-led, and deeply personal.

I intentionally work with fewer families than many other doulas so that I can offer depth of care, emotional attunement, and a strong, steady presence to every woman I support. Because I work this way, my availability often fills well in advance, and I always encourage people who are drawn to this kind of support to reach out early.

I don’t work for hospitals, policies, or systems.
I work for you.

I am not answerable to shift patterns or institutional agendas, which means my role is to offer unconditional, non-judgemental support that centres you, your needs, and your experience.

My approach and philosophy

Birth support, to me, should feel nurturing, protective, and respectful.

It is not a checklist or a performance. It is a relationship built on trust, presence, and understanding.

Advocacy is a core part of my work, not in a confrontational sense, but in a grounded, steady way that helps you feel heard, supported, and respected, especially when systems feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate.

Many women describe my support as motherly: warm, attentive, and calming, or like a 'big sister',  protective without ever being controlling or directive. I hold space with tenderness while encouraging you to trust your own instincts and your own voice.

You remain at the centre of your experience, always.

Why I work the way I do

I take my own physical and emotional wellbeing seriously, because I know that in order to show up fully for others, I must also care for myself.

I home educate my 8 year old daughter and we prioritise rest, connection, and time together, including regular holidays abroad and in the UK throughout the year. This isn’t separate from my work; it’s part of how I sustain the presence, patience, and emotional capacity that this role requires. This work is sacred but demands my energy.

By working with fewer families, I ensure that when I am with you, you have my full attention, energy, and care. This isn’t a limitation, it’s a commitment to quality, integrity, and genuine support.

Experience and scope of support

Being a doula is my full-time role. I have supported many families across a wide range of birth settings and experiences, and I am comfortable working alongside healthcare professionals while always keeping you at the centre.

I support home births, hospital births, caesarean births, and free births, and I have a particular strength in helping women navigate the UK maternity system with confidence and clarity.

Families often tell me that what makes the difference is not just my knowledge or experience, but the way I show up: present, invested, calm, and on their team.

If you are looking for support that is deeply personal, advocacy-led, and grounded in genuine care, I would love to hear from you.

We can begin with a calm, open conversation on a Discovery Call and see whether this feels like the right fit for you.
