I'm Natalie, NatNat Your Doula, and I provide in-person doula support across London, with bases in North West and South West London.

You might be planning to give birth in a London hospital and want the continuity of having your own doula alongside your maternity care. You might be considering a birth centre, preparing for a VBAC, planning a homebirth or Caesarean, or still working out what feels right for you.

You don't need to be planning a particular kind of birth to work with me.

 

My role is to get to know you during pregnancy, help you prepare for birth, support your partner and be the familiar person beside you when labour begins.

 

And if your plans change along the way, my support changes with you.

What does doula support actually look like?

My support is emotional, physical and practical, and it's shaped around you and what you need.

That might include:

• Preparing for birth together during pregnancy

• Talking through appointments, questions or worries

• Birth planning and preparing for different ways your birth could unfold

• Helping you understand information and explore your options

• Calm, continuous support throughout labour and birth

• Comfort measures, movement, breathing and practical reassurance

• Supporting your birth partner so they feel confident and involved

• Being a familiar person beside you if plans change

• Postnatal support as you recover and adjust to life with your baby

I don't arrive with an agenda for how you should give birth. I arrive ready to support you.

 

 

Doula Support Alongside London Maternity Care

You don't have to choose between having NHS maternity care and having a doula.

You can have both.

​

Your midwives and doctors provide your clinical maternity care. My role is different.

I'm there specifically for you — providing continuity, preparation during pregnancy, emotional and practical support and a familiar face throughout labour and birth.

 

For some women, that's exactly why they start looking for a doula. They may be completely happy with their maternity care but want more time, more continuity and someone they know beside them when they give birth.

Hospital Birth Support in London

London has a huge range of maternity services, and hospital birth is a normal part of my doula work.

If you're planning to give birth in hospital, we'll prepare together beforehand so I already know you, your partner, what matters to you and how you'd like to be supported.

​

During labour, I'm there to provide continuous emotional and practical support to both you and your birth partner.

And if things change,whether that's an induction, pain relief, intervention or an unexpected Caesarean, I'm still your doula.

​

My support isn't dependent on your birth following the original plan.

 

 

Home Birth Support in London

Homebirth is also an area I have significant experience supporting.

If you're planning to give birth at home, I can support you alongside your midwives with preparation during pregnancy, creating your birth space, comfort measures, birth pool support, practical help and continuous support throughout labour.

​

And if a planned homebirth transfers into hospital, my support doesn't stop because the location changes.

Wherever possible, I go with you.

VBAC, Induction & Caesarean Support in London

I also support families preparing for VBAC, induction and Caesarean birth.

Sometimes these are plans you've made from the beginning. Sometimes pregnancy takes an unexpected turn and suddenly you're having conversations you hadn't expected to have.

We can prepare for what's ahead, talk through your questions and make sure you understand the information and options being discussed with you.

 

If you're already 36 weeks or more and have recently been advised to have an induction, please get in touch. If I have last-minute availability around your induction date, I may still be able to support you during your induction and birth.

I provide in-person doula support across North, North West, West, South West and Central London, as well as other London areas depending on travel time, your estimated due date and my existing on-call commitments.

I have London bases in North West and South West London, making it possible for me to support families across a wide area of the city.
